Hello teacher. Please I got a question. So, once, i've read the sentence in a song : "...He gets him in a panic...." (from Placebo) What does mean 'get' in this way ? Maybe somethin' like : " He puts him in a panic " ? Is it the same like " I get in the bus" ? Thank you for your attention.
-- Well, You should at least say, "He's gotta go." Put the "s" in there. That represents the verb "has" to match the subject. Then it sounds okay, but this is only okay for spoken English.
